BIOALVO internal R&D covers three main areas.
1. Development of novel applications of GPS D2 technology for the screening against new promising targets.
2. Development of innovative secondary screening assays based on mammalian and human cells - strong focus on neurodegenerative diseases.
3. Improvement of in - house natural and synthetic libraries – expansion of sources and number of compounds, variability increase and information content increment.
In parallel with these more specific areas, continuous research on the pathological mechanisms involved in neurodegenerative diseases is part of the daily work.
